anyone else getting a strange bug?

The bug is when you try to join a server (anyserver) it just stays on the "joining server" screen and will just not respond anyone else getting this bug?

Right now Minecraft.net is being very slow and unresponsive for everybody. It takes us even multiple attempts to get into servers. This could very well be your problem.

I have been having this happen to me alot today. Hmm wonder what is wrong. My minecraft just shuts down completly.

Yeah i have force quit minecraft several times trying to join the servers
