2 simple fixes for both:
If you're stuck in place (let's say, at the start of the new dm), all you have to do is :
-Look down and click mouse1 and spacebar at the same time. You are now mobile.
If your inventory is stuck on the infamous 'shift-click' glitch, all you have to do is :
-Press your Windows key (between Cntrl + Alt] to alt tab out of the game, then go back in. Voila.
