IP Bans are tricky. There was a point in time, around two years ago, where we used to IP Ban in a lot of circumstances however these led to issues. First off, if Player A is banned for hacking, that means his entire household (including his siblings) are now banned even though they did nothing wrong, and if he has any friends that have played at his house, they are in danger of being banned too since they have shared an IP.

All in all, yes public account abuse is a problem, but using the IP Ban system will only create more problems and we have a handle on the situation as it stands, do not worry
