There is no way at the moment to fix spectators blocking arrows. I'm not sure why you can't fly during deathmatch though.

I personally think it is fine the way it is right now without the ability to fly in DM.

Some people play on small or even tiny render distance, it sucks for them cause they cannot see anything.

Should be able to fly, yet have a barrier that blocks you from getting too close to the players so that you can't block the arrows. You should make a poll so that you can get proper statistics as to what people think.

I hate those people with fly hacks that fly over to the sand on deathmatch. So many times I couldn't figure out who I was meant to be attacking due to spectators on the sand.
