Hello! I'm starting to pick parts for my computer. My friend said he gets 300+ FPS on Far with these parts. Do you think it's a good build?

Parts:
GPU - 160$ - EVGA GeForce GTX650Ti Boost 2GB
CPU - 120$ - Intel i3 3220 Dual Core Processor
Ram: 70$ - Corsair Vengeance 8 GB (2 x 4 GB)
Motherboard - 60$ - MSI LGA1155/Intel B75/DDR3/SATA3 USB 3.0 A&GbE/MicroATX Motherboard
Hard Drive - 67$ - WD Blue Desktop Hard Drive (1 TB)
Power - 50$ - Corsair Builder Series CX 500
Case - 54$ - NZXT Source 210 ELITE

If you can find better parts for under 750$ (budget not including mouse, keyboard, etc.) that would be great, thanks!
I can get a better build for you for 750$ hold on

Here it is, will max out pretty much any game on the market except Crysis/Metro Last Light at Ultra Settings, not to mention Minecraft lol(sorry, $6 over, but hopefully you have spare change :p):

PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1jnYV

CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($220.98 @ Microcenter)
Motherboard: ASRock Z77M Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($89.99 @ Newegg)
Memory: Memory: G.Skill Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($69.98 @ Outlet PC)
Storage: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($59.99 @ NCIX US)
Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 760 2GB Video Card ($249.99 @ Amazon)
Case: NZXT Source 210 Elite (Black) ATX Mid Tower Case ($49.99 @ Amazon)
Power Supply: Corsair Builder 500W 80 PLUS Bronze Certified ATX12V Power Supply ($39.99 @ Newegg)
Total: $756.93

-Better Graphics card
-Better CPU, easily overclockable

Edit: I changed the RAM because of compatibility issues.

Don't get a k model cpu unless you plan on overclocking. Also, check the speed of your ram. You don't want anything slower than 1600MHz these days. Same with the hard drive, try to get a 7200rpm one.

Pretty much what bobyfish has listed would be good.

Quick Question: Will my soon to be built computer run shaders at least at 60-100FPS with R3d Craft texture pack?

EDIT: I'm also going to be playing Civilization 5 and I'll change the CPU to a i5 3570K.

Yeah, you should be able to run shaders and texture packs. There's not much you can't do with that computer I put up.

Okay. So now I just need money and a new desk!

EDIT: Wait are you talking about the build you gave me or my build?

I was talking about the build I gave you, yours probably won't run shaders as well mayybe 30 fps with r3dcraft.

edit: actually only if you play at 720p you could run 60 fps. But 30 fps isn't bad because anything above 30 fps isn't really noticable. Here's a vid with shaders and faithful 32x. The only thing is he has an i7 so maybe you'll get a couple of frames less.

Okay. If I take your build how many FPS will I get with shaders and recording? Just wondering and if I don't use shaders and I don't record how many FPS?
