Can't log on to servers with Magic Launcher

I just got my laptop fixed with a new hard drive and just finished the process of re-installing everything. Now I can't log on to servers with Magic Launcher (fine with normal launcher); it says "Username cannot be longer than 16 characters." Anyone with similar experiences?

Allowed Mods list:

• Optifine
• Shaders Mod or "GLSL Shaders"
• Toomanyitems
• Armorstatus
• Directionhub
• Multiplayer profiles mod
• Macros Mod [only for staff since normal members can use it to break rules]
• Camera Studio
• Animated Players Mod

This list will update over time.

Any mods not posted on the mods list should be verified with staff before using.

Magic Launcher comes with Optifine. Well it is made by the same person, easier installation.
It gives no advantage, just easier to install mods and such.
