I was sent to post here instead of the hacker cleensweep forum thread http://www.minecraftsurvivalgames.com/threads/eu-cleansweep-week-6-results.150555/page-4

Anyway, here is the original post:
Here's an idea I have had for a while, and I am not sure how this would be implemented, but I know that some hacks allow the user to identify other players that have certain hacks (I don't hack I have just heard this from other people). I know that the use of hacks in a hacker report recording results in a ban of both the reporting player and the one being recorded, but wouldn't it be possible to create a mod that ONLY allows identifying other hacking players and could be approved for use on MCSG? If someone would take the time to create a mod like this that would be amazing, but I am not sure how feasible/time consuming it would be.

They definitely wouldn't allow that

I don't think there are mods that can see people with hacks.... Im pretty sure if you donate to a hacked client, you can see capes of other people using it but that means you have to use it.... so its pretty much a impossible thing

I think something like that could potentially be useful, but if it comes to using prohibited clients, then we wouldn't want to risk people actually abusing it, as we want to make sure it is fair. It is actually pretty easy to detect people hacking either way, however, I heard that NoCheatPlus could help work as well as using the naked eye. Although creating a modification that only detects hacks can be awesome; everything has a flaw, so we wouldn't want to risk glitching it out and actually record an innocent player who seems to be hacking. The staff would also prohibit such a modification like that, unfortunately I do not know the full reason towards that.
