To start off my first post, I have put a solution for the error that is said on the title.
If you play Minecraft alot a and you are always modifying your system then you might have gotten this error/quote after running Minecraft for a certain time:
"Failed to write core dump. Minidumps are not enabled by default on client versions of Windows."
I don't know if this solution has already been posted in the forums but this is one of the fix.
1. Open Minecraft launcher
2. Open task manager and go to Processes for Windows 8/8.1 or Applications for 7.
3. Right click Java(TM) Platform SE Binary or simply your MC launcher.
4. Find "create dump file" and click it
5. Wait till it finishes and play Minecraft crash free.
