For the most part, the MCSG forums are a safe haven: a place where players of all ages can come to participate in thought provoking discussions, share input, and make suggestions.
Generally, almost all of the main posts/threads are clean. Offensive language is kept to a bare minimum.
However, recently I've noticed something rather unnerving: many of the more popular and experienced forumers think for whatever reason that they "own" the forums and are allowed to post whatever they want.
Most often, I see this in profile post discussions. Offensive, vulgar, and sexual language are often found in people's profile post discussions because many moderators don't bother to check on profiles for that type of stuff.
This can cause numerous problems.
1) Someone of a young age could be browsing the forums and stumble upon language such as that. Even though it technically isn't "public", anyone can still access it.
2) Players new to the forums could be looking though the forums, check out some of the more experienced posters, go to their profile, see some of the language on it, and figure, "Hey, if I use this language, I can become popular too!"
3) It's against the rules; plain and simple.
While this may not be a huge problem, it still is something that needed to be brought up.
The next time you post ANYTHING on these forums, ask yourself this:
Would I be ok with the whole world knowing I posted this?
Keep the language clean, please!
Edit:
If you don't believe me and want examples, here are some:

This is all really unnecessary... ._.
