Events Gamemode Spotlight: UHC Worlds - Week 4 [US]

Event Update​

Important: The final week of US will take place 30 minutes earlier than normal at 6:00 CDT instead of 6:30 CDT as originally scheduled. This is to avoid overlapping with the US Open Mic Night. For the time conversions see the time details later in the thread.

Leaderboard: Going into the final week, it is time to take a look at the leaderboard to see where you stand. Remember the top 3 will win prizes. If you don't see yourself on the leaderboard, but attended a session it means that you have 10 participation points.

Event Info​

For this event, we will be switching it up a slight bit. Throughout the month of September, we will be holding 4 sessions, each containing 1-2 rounds. Vanilla UHC will always be played, so please vote for it in the lobby! We will have staff members refereeing the games and keeping track of points. You can earn points by getting kills and winning the game in each round, as well as bonus points given out to everyone who shows up at each session.

After each session we will add up the points that everyone earned in each session, and add them to the leaderboard. After the fourth sessions is complete those who have placed in the top 3 on the leaderboard will earn prizes. Sound fun? To join, simply poke any staff members in the Gamemode Spotlight channel under the Events header on our TeamSpeak (ts.mcgamer.net).

Points​

Points can be earned in the following ways. All points earned in each session will be added to the leaderboard. Check the events section of the forums after each week to see a thread with the updated leaderboard.

• 20 points per kill
• 50 points per win
• 10 points per session for participation

Note: Kill points are not given for the game winning kill, meaning you get 50 points for winning including any kill you get at the end to win the game. All other kills that you get throughout the game will count as 20 points like normal.

Prizes​

Place in the top 3 on the overall leaderboard at the end of the month and you will earn some fancy prizes! The store coupons can be used to buy anything in the MCGamer shop including ranks, MCGamer credits, and stat reset tokens!

Rules​

By participating in this event, you must follow the following rules. Failure to do so may lead to removal from the event.

• All MCGamer Rules apply.
• No teaming (This includes giving players items as well)
• No disguising (we want to be able to enter scores easily)
• No using the environment to kill people during grace period.
• Use the same account!
• If you use different accounts at different sessions we will not combine your scores from each session.
• and more (all rules will be given by the event host before we begin the session)
