Getting eliminated when crafting?

So I was crafting a flint and steel in my inventory when in my chat it says "You have been eliminated from the games" This usually happens when I craft Flint and steel, So I was wondering has this ever happened to anyone else? If so tell me your tale.

Yes, this has happened to many people its just a crafting bug should be fixed shortly.

This is not us, this is a bug in minecraft 1.5. Also wait about 3 seconds between putting each item into the crafting table, and do NOT shift click.

It's a bug in 1.5 I know but it's already fixed .
