Make sure the "Touchscreen" option is set to off in your settings, this causes bugs among computers.

First of all you can use edit button and merge your posts into one.
Probably that's your internet connection. You can test it with typing message into server and counting untill it show message will show to you (normal time is around 0.5-3 seconds).
If connection is working fine turn off touchscreen mode in options. It won't allow you to move items with shift or moving them to your inventory without pressed mouse button.
