Hey guys I need help!

So I've posted a video on my channel and I want to post it on the media section but there's no where that say "post thread" but there's something called "submit media" so I click that then it says "enter media url" So I copy the url to the video then It says "can't retrieve url data" (says something like that) Sorry If I sound stupid I'm new to all of this so please just be kind and respond

Not sure, but last time I posted my internet browser goes directly to HTTPS with youtube and when I tried uploading to the media section it wouldn't allowed me.
Make sure you have your full link and if it has HTTPS in it make sure to take the "S" off and have it HTTP://www.youtube.com/whateverurvidis
