How to avoid sprint rubber-banding.

Just don't hold down the sprint button while you're running, NCP will think you're a sprint hacker, and will pull you back, it's extremely annoying, hoped this helped :p

Well, then why does it happen even when someone double taps W?

Edit: Also, your thread title is misleading. This isn't fixing it, just a way to avoid it. (If it even works.)

Just don't run for a large period of time, when the enemy is far behind, just take a quick stop, and sprint again.

What I think your actually supposed to do is when your hitting someone and they get ahead, you just block your sword for a second and continue to run.

That's how to get out of rubber banding. This is how to avoid it, so it doesn't happen in the first place.
