I need Help

When Ever I Enter Minecraft On 1.7 , I Can Get On To The Main Menu But When I Enter Any server Minecraft Simply Crashes And I Cant Play on 1.7 but I can play on 1.8

If you have optifine installed, you probably haven't played the vanilla version of the 1.7 optifine version you are using which I suppose its 1.7.10. Try playing vanilla 1.7.10 (Basically 1.7.10 with no mods) and just go to the title screen and as soon as it loads, close minecraft and load up the optifine version of the 1.7.10

I haven't encountered this error myself, nor have I seen it but Deelan's solution seems like it could work, try that.

i install forge and optifine and it works fine but 1.7 + optifine 4 me doesnt work
