i need help

i am in a match and i am completely inable to break anything to collect it like dirt and such. why?

Everything is protected. You aren't supposed to be able to collect or break blocks because that's just how it is. I hope I helped you. You have to find chests to gather materials and weapons and armour to win the game.

The point of the survival games is to survive. That means finding chests, killing mobs, PVPing, and coming up with your own strategies. The only blocks that you are able to break are leaves, vines, mushrooms, and grass. The rest of the blocks are protected so that players can't alter the map (block glitching is NOT allowed).
