Its odd, you can get bones (and craft into bonemeal) but when you try to dye armour white it stops you? its kinda irritating.

Agree, This needs to be implemented, the invisible, you could wear no armor, but be at a disadvantage for wearing no armor, but get to strike early, I think this needs to be a tier 2 item

You can't even dye your armor white now... (Yes, it is impossible to dye armor with the avaible dyes...

nah tier 4 chests would be boring as its reducing chances of others by even more, tier 3 chests should contain enchanted armour & items.
