Is it worth it...

Sometimes i see people swearing and I was wondering: Is it really worth reporting? So I would like to know if it is worth it.

Depends. I can't imagine much would happen if they say "damn", but if they were to say the a-word or drop f bombs they could get banned.

it depends if its dam its ok but if it is f.u.*.* then that's bypassing the filter so that is reporting.

Yes, always report it if someone is swearing. It's worth it because it gets rid of the problem quickly and stops it developing to a more bigger and serious matter.

I put yes and no, the reasons being is you have to take into account that everybody that plays is only human. We all have complex emotions and easily forget rules and consequences when these emotions take hold. Sometimes it's better to show a little bit of compassion and forgive and forget if it's nothing majorly serious: in reality a mod would most likely issue a warning to them first, in bigger cases of swearing and other related rule breaking go that extra mile and report (with evidence) what you know is just wrong.
