IS there a difference if you get unbanned?

My friends just got unbanned and i when their in sever 2 and as am I, they appear to be in a whole other sever. Please Help.

Its just a glitch, he was placed out of the server because of a bug in the system, it happend to me

I'm guessing he tried to say: My friend just got unbanned and when we both are in sever 2 they appear to be in a different sever.
