Losing less points

So,

I had 519 points, a lot if you ask me.
But then I get killed by someone with a lower level, well ok, but then I LOSE 50 POINTS??!
50 points is just too much if you ask me.
Because when I kill him, I will get 1-2 points.

Yes, he kills someone of higher rank, but 50 POINTS?!

yeah the points are a little weird but we're only in Beta so there is plenty of time to get this fixed

It's a weird point system right now yea.

Maybe the longer you survive the less points you lose when you die?
And maybe the same with the kill points, but then if you kill someone in the start that you get less points then you kill someone later on in the game.
