Hello Tributes! This thread will be a small informative piece on the map updates that have shown up or will be showing up over the next few days. First off we’d like to start this piece by stating that yes, we are aware that some of the maps have bugs and other issues - However, don’t worry! Fixes will be rolled out over the next few days. And with that, some fixes to older maps have also been applied so don’t forget to read on to see whats new.


Also we’d like to thank everyone who came to the Map concern meeting held on the 8th of June and a thank you to those who pitched maps to us. We have some new interests in maps for the next batch at the end of the month - including some forum favourites!

The next batch at the end of the month looks like an interesting one, so stay tuned for information regarding that one. So next we’re going to talk about suggesting maps for upload!

During the Map concern meeting on the 8th, we gave users an opportunity to vocally pitch maps to us and it went very well, with some spawning newfound interest in a few forum favourite maps for us. This may be a recurring event since it went so well, so please keep an eye out for messages regarding such - then bring along a map and a great pitch.

If you want to suggest a map in the meantime, you can email [email protected] or directly message LadyOfLove on the forums as she will arrange all suggestions into an informative document. You may pitch your own maps, your friends or anyone elses - and you may have more than one person pitching a map. In your suggestion please don’t have it be something vague like ‘Because it’s good’ - talk about what you like about it, what it could bring to MCGamer and unique aspects. The more passion you put into it, the better! Also, don’t forget a link to the map!

If you have any concerns about the new choices, map faults or anything map related don’t hesitate to contact [email protected] or a senior staff member. If its a game breaking glitch we need to know immediately, preferably with coordinates if applicable.

Today we pulled a five hour work session to fix map issues on new and old maps - and we’d like to give a big thankyou to the moderators who attended the working bee and helped out! Below is a changelog of the fixes, so I hope you enjoy. For these we gathered thoughts from the community through chats, forum posts and more before making changes including some minor tiering changes. These fixes will be rolled out over the next few days.

Remnant - Crafting benches added at corn.
Atlantis - Major updates. from 3 exits to a total of 16. crafting benches. Restructured corn.
Wasteland - Crafting benches added at corn, more chests added
Survival Games 1 - Missing tree block has finally been replaced.
Avaricia - Terraforming issues have been fixed in problem areas
Teweran SG 2 - Removed block glitch chest completely. Block glitch mountain fixed.
Alaskan village - Corn chests fixed. Slightly tiering adjustments.
Breeze Island - Popular/Classic Tier 2’s reinstated
Forsaken Ascension 120 - More chests!
Survival games 4 - Popular/Classic Tier 2’s reinstated
Enchanted Forest - Corn chests fixed. Corn slightly altered for maneuverability.
Lobby Games - Diamond sword removed
Winds of Change - More chests converted to Tier 2’s.
Lobby Fixes - Minor adjustments to SG lobby itself.
Teweran SG 1 - More chests converted to Tier 2’s.
Eye of Horus - OP Item removal, redstone alteration, and Deathmatch fix
Origins Requiem V2 - Fixed keystone system.

Yes! I love most (except maybe the last one) map updates, and I just want good maps! Little tweaks here and there, and we will have top notch maps!

I'm not fond of the new maps besides Turbulence, but the tiering fixes on TSG1 and Breeze Island are great additions.
