Hello all, I was going to buy a new microphone but I don't know which one to get. I'm looking for something with great audio quality for recordings etc. Any suggestions?

If you don't want to go too expensive I'd suggest to get a blue snowball.

Depends on the budget, if your going down the Youtube route everything about your channel has to be of the highest standard these days to succeed. The blue snowball is a good starter but if you're committed to Youtube the blue yeti is a fantastic option.

I own a Blue Yeti and I can personally say that the sound quality is absolutely amazing, but just as basically everyone in this thread said, if you're on a smaller budget, go for Blue Snowball :)

If you get a microphone, get one that suits your surroundings? Do you have a lot of background noise? Do you have heater noises? And so on, don't get a Blue Yeti, waste of my time and money. Get a headset.

As almost everyone else has said, the blue yeti is a fantastic mic. It's not exactly cheap (and i recommend getting a boom and a shock mount for it) But it's an amazing mic. I also know lots of people who have the snowball, and it also seems to sound great.

At the end of the day, it really depends on your budget.
