When I was in 3rd grade there was a kid from the Netherlands who came for part of the year. I was his best friend, his name was Cees.I live in The Netherlands near Amsterdam

Fancy way of spelling that, as it's usually spelled like "Kees". Anyway, I would definitely recommend The Netherlands for a weekend/week trip.
