I've recently been saving some money to update my PC, and I was wondering if some of you know-it-alls can help me out! :D

Hey man you have a pretty good computer on your hands! The only thing i would say to upgrade is your proccessor and maybe like a little more ram. I would recommend an i7 intel core or an intel i5 core. I hope i helped you out a little

I would reccomend a newer graphics card and a better proccessor like a amd for gaming and at least 2 more gbs of ram.

Plus, you're fine in terms of RAM. 4GB is enough. Unless you wanna play more intensive games.

Or if you wanna do a lot of things at the same time..
Like host a server without lag (good internet also recommended)..
But for the server so it doesn't crash easily..

I know Dean has a Radeon 5770 1gb, that does him well for Minecraft and most other "normal" games.
