Needing help for fraps

I use fraps to record my minecraft videos and it always lags me out
I dont have a bad computer
Pc Specs:
I5 4570k
Gtx 650 1gb
10 ddr3 ram


I dont really get why i lag i play with 300+ but when i record it goes to 150+ and the frames are really choppy
Help please :c

It's easy: don't use Fraps. Your graphics card supports Shadowplay, which is the godliest recording software ever created. The only problem is that it can't record Minecraft directly, so you have to record your desktop and use a borderless window tool to create the illusion of fullscreen. It's worth the extra trouble though, it won't drop your frames at all.

What FPS have you got the video set to record at. It will default to 60FPS so try increasing it to 100FPS.
