Notch and Herobrine

i was looking at the leaderboards and i decided to type in notch and here what i found....



wtf Notch was on this server... and it said last played was 7/15/2012... which was yesterday!!!!!!

next i type in herobrine and here what i found.....



wtf last played in 1970s? wtf. Suggestion or questions about this weird discovery i found?

EDIT: it seems that when i posted this that it said for Notch that it was 01/01/1970 but if you go look up Notch (cap the n) then it say 7/15/2012.

No player named herobrine played on these servers so far. Thats why it says he played here last at 1/1/1970. You will get this result for every player who doesnt exist or hasn't logged in into MCSG.
That notch played here yesterday doesnt mean NOTCH played here. It was a guy using notch's account name, made possible by the security issue.

But notice that the Herobrine picture IS Herobrine. More likely a joke than 1970 being a default number..

Maybe as Herobrine is Notches dead 'brother' this is Herobrines supposed birth/death date?

That Notch one was true, but it was some exploiter bypassing the auth servers to get onto his name. Herobrine in the other case, that was 9 years before Notch had even born!

yea it seems legit but im confused why 1970's when minecraft came out arround what like 2010?

1970 is because the player hasn't played on the official release of the MCSG server. If the player hasn't logged on since the servers went out of Beta.. The player is set to default - 1970.

^Exactly. He hasn't logged in before. I tried it the other day too, the ones that have never logged in are set to 1970.
