Please Help! The Games Are Pointless (for me) until this is fixed D:

Hi Everyone.

I am really annoyed at the fact that i have NEVER been able to complete a game, because minecraft ALWAYS "runs out of memory". But, it doesnt actually run out of memory, as it has more than it needs. It only happens on SG servers, and usually when the storm sound comes. PLEASE HELP :'(

Have you tried updating Java to the latest version? Also try closing out all other active programs when playing Minecraft. Google chrome can be a huge memory hog.

I have Java version 1.7.0_03 - is that the latest version? Not sure ^_^

I usually close both steam and Chrome before playing, but still my minecraft just randomly kaputs.
An interesting thing to note is that i never crash while spectating, only while i myself am a tribute (not sure if this helps but...) and it also happens mostly at the thunder effect.

If this doesn't help close all background program's. Try going through the processes.
Also I think that is the latest version of java.

Ok heres feedback: crashed 3 minutes into the games <sigh>

If anyone wants to know, I crashed when i tried to access a chest.
It always seems to be when i try to interact with something. (attack, right click, kill)
and i have 3 GB RAM (which i figure isnt very much)

EDIT: Updated java - maybe this will work?

EDIT2: Good news i think! i died a third of the way in the games but i lasted longer that usual (i think) with no crash
