okay first of all, sorry if this sounds mega noobie but yeah please help.
i dont own minecraft yet but i am thinking of buying it after seeing the survival games servers on youtube, looks like mad fun, only problem is im a Mac user ( i know), i know i can get minecraft on my mac, but im not sure how minecraft servers/ mods and downloads work because iv never owned it, so my question is, if i get minecraft on my mac, will i be able to play the survival games servers?
feedback without abuse for being a dumbass would be appreciated, thanks.

Yes, just copy the ip in your server list.
