PNG to ICO converter?

I've started making custom folder icons, but I don't seem to find a PNG to ICO converter. I've tried PNG2ICO but it doesn't seem to work (It quickly runs the .exe, opens up the cmd but then closes instantly). I also tried opening it with Run/Start but it does the same thing. If you have any ideas on how I can convert PNG to ICO files or programs I can do it with, or how to properly open PNG2ICO, I would love to hear them.

I was wondering if there is an application you can download to do it, but I guess that's good enough, excuse my idiocy for not searching it better in google tho

You can create ico file at http://onlinefavicon.com/ , create favicon using drawing tool or upload jpg or png image and make 16x16 or 32x32 ICO file with easy, also you can foun gallery with favicons from other users and download the same. Finally you have description how to set up favicon to your site. Very helpful!
