Hey all,

I'm new to this server and it's mcsg system.

What exactly are points? In the lobby, the ones that appear next to your name.

I know you gets a certain amount of points when you kill a player, but thats pretty much it.

Anyone care to explain?

you can sponsor alive players as a spectator using /sponsor or bounty them using /bounty #. other than that points are pretty useless and does not have anything to do with a players skill or statistics.

Points are somehow a prize when you kill a player. Usually good players have many points, but the points have nothing to do with the skill. Just because they are experienced and they kill a lot of players they get a lot of points also.

What you can do with points is /sponsor <player> and it opens a menu where you can find 9 different items, such as the Ender Pearl, Arrows, Cake, etc. When you click the item it will go into the player's inventory.
Another thing you can do with points is /bounty <player> <points ammount> (it must be 10+ points) and that will put the ammount of points that you wanted on that person. At the end of the game, if the person wins, they will get the points you bountied them.
