What is this?
This is a little project I want to start with the MCGamer community to see how we can improve the look of the forums

Why, Just why Sam?
Countless times I've come on to the forums to see the same old generic post

Can we have a new website. The current one looks trash - DeadServer 2/07

And to be quiet honest, the website is just bland

So how can we help?
I would really appreciate if you guys could suggest features and changes. at the moment we are just working on redesigning the front page, but later maybe a Xenforo skin.

How you do this you wizard?
I no wizard, just HTML, CSS, Javascript (eventually).

I feel that the forums are designed to be simple and easy to navigate. Changing the way the forums look will chase away older players from using the forums and also chase away newer players from attempting to learn the forum layout. If the forums are going to be changed at all, the changes would have to be subtle and/or small, slowly adjusting the layout to look more sleek.

True I just things are way too cluttered in terms of layout

Forums are fine the way they are... I see nothing wrong with what we have now.

Honestly, we've had this forum layout for over a year and it's only recent that people have been asking for a new layout... I personally don't see a problem with this, it is much cleaner and much easier to navigate then the one we had before, especially from a moderation standpoint (I can safely say this because I was a Moderator when we had the previous theme as well).

Well Obviously it was better than the last one, the last one looked like it was default Xenforo with a few color changes and a cool header

Someone took inspiration from another network. I can tell just by the phrase "website reskin" lol. Ours looks good at the moment imo.

I think if we keep the same layout but just give it a little "revamp" it will look much cooler.
