To get a stats reset, you have to type /upgrades 1 (i think) in-game, so if you are banned, it's not possible, so you're just wasting money.

I believe it would be possible to buy a donor upgrade while being banned... which would result in you are being a banned donator afterwards

You will still receive the rank as you don't have to be online to receive it. When you buy a stats reset it doesn't happen instantly, you have to do a command in game to reset them.
