There was one of the quote that has always stuck in my head since the day I learned it in elementary. It was "shoot for the moon, and if you miss you'll land among the stars". It really taught me that you should always strive for the absolute highest standard you can. If you set impossibly high standards, and you fall short of reaching it, you will still have made it further than you ever thought you could.
