Please be careful of the language you're using on the forums, and try not to type in all-caps. If you wish to report a player, please use the correct forum.

The solution to this would be to record hackers yourselves. We staff are unable to monitor every single player on every single server, hence why the ability to submit an abuse report exists.

I remember once i was in a game with a very clear hacker playing, but thing is there was also a mod watching the hacker. All he said was "is anyone recording" And everyone told the mod to ban the obvious hacker but nothing happened cause there was no video proof. It really ticked me off. (This happened a while ago)
I think I know which mod that was too! (I was in the same game)

Minecraft should put installing mods into jars automatticaly when you join a servet that requires a mod because that would prevent alot of hackers that could not use hacks on the server or we install it mannualy cause i would do that
Did you not read my post? Or are you stealing my ideal? >_>

Minecraft[/URL] 1.4 update is the inclusion of modding API for servers, which means servers themselves can host respective mods which will be automatically downloaded by players upon joining the server. It makes playing on modded servers significantly easier for players around the globe, and allows for mods to spread around to different servers more easily.
Clank could make a mod that checks for hacked clients and if a player have one, they'll get kicked. (Hopefully)

That is because they want solid proof before someone gets banned.
If you get trown into prison you want proof that you did a crime too right?

Well they probably wouldn't kick, if they can make a client download a vanilla client with the possibility of allowed mods such as Optifine on most servers.

Would they be able to force texture packs as well? Obviously it would annoy people if it forced a 128x128+ texture pack to lag players, but the possibility of forcing vanilla textures to stop xray texture packs?

That wouldn't stop X-rayer's. Let me tell you why, they can change texture packs in game with Optifine. I tried to use an X-ray texture pack on my server once, its a bother to keep switching from your texture pack and the x-ray texture pack. So, I doubt they'll want to use an x-ray texture pack in a PvP server.

There would still be the minority of people. I think with the modding API, servers would be able to force textures whilst in-game, so people can't change it in game. Who knows? :p
