Regarding map voting and repeated maps.

I posted this information on this thread stating some game logic with the MCSG V2. This hasn't been announced yet so I guess considered this a leak but we wanted to let you know we are coming up with ideas that will address this soon (SUBJECT TO CHANGE):

Detailed Logic: We plan to start up some map voting logic with the new release of the plugin so that this will never happen (or happen less frequent). What we had come up is that the servers keep track of the last 2 maps played. So pretend Map1, Map2, Map3, Map4, and Map5 are loaded. The first round people voted Map3 and finishes, so the game next time will know it played that map on the last round. Same server is in lobby again, however Map3 is not on the list to be voted on and only Map1, Map2, Map4 and Map5 are listed. People now vote for Map2 and the game finishes. Now, next time the same server in lobby, only Map1, Map4 and Map5 will be listed. They vote now Map1 and then that game finishes. Now since it has been 2 games, Map3 will now be re-added to the voting and you can now vote Map3, Map4, and Map5.

TL/DR: Servers cannot repeat a map unless 2 games have passed. On the third game on that same server, the map played 2 games ago is re-added. Repeat.

This plus new awesome maps should solve the issue of maps being overplayed majorly.However, to the people who want to just play on those maps that are very popular, all you need to do is to check the recent maps played on that server by logging into a lobby and see the last 2 previous maps played. I guess I figured that this was important enough to be copied to the homepage. Hope this all addresses most of your concerns but keep in mind, this will not completely eliminate maps like Breeze Island and SG4 to the people who likes playing on them (I admit, I like them too).

Yay :D seems like this is the fix we've all been waiting for!

I thought this was previously impossible though, due to caching problems? Correct me if I'm wrong, but if I'm not, what changed?

Servers now theoretically don't restart now on MCSGV2 (people are still kicked), thus having us save some logic to carry on to the next game.
