2 days ago, I competed in Relay For Life with my basketball team! we cane 1st, finishing with 2,000 laps around a 1km course!
If you don't know what Relay For Life is, your team runs around a 1km track and there is a baton that you must carry while running, that will click over your lap when you run over the wire for about 18 hours. Now for the real reason why me and my team did it, the event is to help raise money for cancer patients, overall for every team running the event raised over $50,000, me and my team raised about $20,000, now I think this is a good reason to run/walk.
