I have been seeing alot of hackers the last days, i thought it would be good to have a command like /report so Mods can see and ban that player. Otherwise i think there should be more Mods.

This has been suggested many times before, and as far as I know, each time it has been denied. Even I, myself, suggested this before. (Or something similar)

Now, "Why?!" you might ask.

A few common reasons:
It would make the Moderators TOO busy. They already have a lot of work dealing with Report Abuses.
False Reports. People that are lagging might think someone is hacking, or if they just get mad at someone for no real reason then it would be a waste of the staff's time.
Spam reports. People who spam would love to spam the staff members, as well, or if someone just rages and wants to get someone banned. Imagine having someone fill up your screen with "BAN {NAME} HAX". Would you want that? I doubt it.

I think it would be a good idea, if people didn't abuse it. A lot of people falsely accuse others of hacking and by using the /report command, they would waste Moderators time.

It's a great concept but this won't work in reality. This would be abused to much as Mooclan stated, and will most likely never get implented thanks to that reason.

This will be REALLY overabused, by all the people mad that someone killed them, and just wants to see them banned.

• Spammed reports
• Can't attach proof
• There is a limit on characters in chat
• Too many reports
• Rage reports
• Threatening reports
• Could be used to contact a moderator instead of report someone
• Could cause extra work for devs that is unnecessary
