I got out of sg4 once by throwing my pearl at glass I got stuck in the middle and got rubber banded when I tried to move. I tried to get back in the arena and it banded me out, it wasn't much but grass spheres and some hills.

In a way. The guy who made this thread didn't do it on purpose and it was therefore not abuse of a glitch. Also, this is the reason ender pearls are a sponsor item ONLY and not found in chests. It was found to be a problem for glitching out of the map. I'm pretty sure there isn't even a specific rule for them anymore xD
