On the forums there should be a spoiler button. That means you can make a text like this: "This is text" And than have a button above it hide or close. It comes also in place when you want to upload a lot of pictures in one post so not almost all of the pictures are ruling the post and the text looks less important.

I don't know anything about that, I don't think it depends on the host but the firmware?

Well it looks like they use XenForo for their forums. Changing this to get spoiler boxes probably would make them have to design a new layout..
