Axes do half the damage of the same material sword so a stone axe is worst than a wood sword

I am pretty sure it is 1/2 a hear less than the sword had from the material used.

Weapons that can 2 shot people no armor: Bow(Crit)(Rare)
Weapons that can 3 shot people with no armor: Bow(Crit)
Weapons that can 4 hit people: Diamond Sword and Axe. Iron sword.
Weapons that can 5 hit people: Diamond pick and shovel. Iron axe and pick. Stone sword. Wood and Gold swords.
Weapons that can 7 hit people: Wood and Gold axes. Stone pick and Iron shovel.
Weapons that can 10 hit people: Wood and gold picks. Stone shovels.
Useless items: Wood and gold shovels. All hoes. All other items. Your hands.

Technicly, if you have no armor on. Gold swords and Stone swords deal a simular damage to you. Also short on diamonds to make a sword? Don't have a sword? Have 2 sticks? Then make your self a shovel! Does the 1/2 a heart less than a stone sword! Or just make a gold sword.
