We are putting together our first PVP Tournament! This will be a community event that is open to all members (you do not need to be in a clan) that would like to participate. The tournament will be divided up into a bracket type system consisting of 8 teams of 4v4’s. All games will be played on the US Network!
Since we are only allowing 8 teams to play, the teams will be chosen at random by a random name generator. If your Team is chosen then you will be contacted via forums. If you are chosen then you will be given any other information that you may need at that time!
The tournament will be ran in a bracket type formation. Teams will be chosen at random for the first round based on the amount of clans that apply. Each clan will be put into the bracket and randomly put against another clan. Only the clan that wins will be allowed to move on. We are working out a prize or award that will be given to the winners!
Dates and Times:
All applications need to be in by JANUARY 28th, 2015
Brackets will be released JANUARY 29th, 2015
Beginning Rounds will be JANUARY 30th-31st, 2015
Finals will be held on JANUARY 31st, 2015
Times are yet to be determined. Please keep an eye on the thread for the announcement on the release of the brackets All times and dates will be based on CST (Central Standard Time.)

The Following are Rules Specific to the tournament, all other rules still apply.
Each clan must fill out the appropriate application and agree to all rules to participate.
Clans do not need to have a clan thread in order to participate. If you have some friends who want to get into a group and try to win, go for it. This means that if you are part of a clan on MCGamer we are not going to look at any roster. You can mix and match as much as you want.
You agree to listen to all staff members and designated persons who are helping out with this event.
If any one person is caught hacking whilst the tournament is going on, the team that they are playing for will be disqualified.
If you are in an MCGamer clan already, you are allowed to split your clan up in to groups as well because we will not be recognizing any one clan. We recognize whoever you put in your application.
All first round bracket picks will be completely random. We will not take requests on who would like to battle who.
This will be held similar to the way that current clan battles are hosted. It will be hosted on our servers and our Teamspeak, (ts.mcgamer.net)
Only the people that are on your application may participate should you be chosen. If at any point you need to make any changes please contact a staff member and they will contact me in getting it changed.
For the sake of time, all tournaments will be played the best of 3.
You must fill out the following application in order to be considered. All applications will be allowed to play. At the time the brackets are released the applications cannot be changed. All rosters at that point will be final!

All clans who want to participate must fill out the Google form. Remember, once brackets are released, all information is final. If you need to change something, please do not fill out another form! Message Jodimo on the forums to make the change.

I understand this is only a US based event for right now. This is our first time having an event like this and we want to see how it goes. If all goes well and people like the idea then we will contemplate the idea of going to a larger scale and including more regions.
