Yeah... People love to riot after games. Especially the World Cup.

Do you live in Buenos Aires, or a smaller city?

Yup! Buenos Aires.

They completely robbed a restaurant on that zone, there are people burning trash cans, throwing pieces of the street they break at the police :(

Yeah, perhaps it has to do with you living in a very urban area. For example, footage of La Obelisco (No idea how to spell it) was being shown, and it looked like a riot was about to break. Smaller cities aren't going to have such an extreme reaction as B. Aires.

Wow ;o hope you stay safe. And even if you guys had won, the riots may have been worse, due to the whole country being in ecstacy.

Yeah, I know. Its still annoying... this stuff happens more often than you think, its happens for pretty much anything, not only the world cup.

Yeah, I have no doubt on that. People are a**holes no matter what pretty much.

I definitely know how much it happens. I'm Portuguese, and every time anytime team plays (Portugal Men's National, Benfica, Sporting, etc.) in the capital, people riot ridiculously. Break-ins are pretty common during major tournaments.

That being said, I have an aunt who lived in São Paulo who said it's 10x times worse in South America.

I love how the World Cup is like "Say no to racism" so they put several countries in a fight to see who's better at the sport
