It's not like we can flip a switch and turn off hackers. While it is true that the amount of hackers has dramatically increased, the staff are doing their best to take care of the issue. I'm sure that those report abuses your friend put in were taken care of. We have several moderators who love to do report abuses and provided your friend posted his videos int eh proper section, they'll have taken care of those reports.

Im trying to help, would you mind answering my question so this thread could actually help into "sorting out the hacking problem"?

As much as we try to tell people, there is no way to make something like our anti BSM plugin for other hacked clients. The only reason the anti BSM plugin works is because the client tells the server that it's using BSM. For obvious reasons, hacked clients don't do that.

Talking from an AU perspective, most of the moderators are horrible. Not going to point any fingers here but some mods are hardly helpful and in some cases disrespectful of others. Also there are not that many active mods anymore. Just reminding you the key word here is 'most' and im not saying that every mod is horrible just a large select few.

If you feel a moderator is not doing their job correctly, by all means, report it to the Sr. Staff.

Its true that there are alot of hackers, but you cant only blame staff for that, make that theres only a small amount of them and a huge amount of players, there is a report abuse function for a reason, all you have to do is record the player hacking, and then submit an abuse report, if more players would do this instead of complaining about all the hackers then more will get banned. its much easier and quicker for a mod to review a submit abuse post, then it is for them to go actually onto the server and follow them the whole game recording, in hopes of finding a point in which their hacking. Help the staff out and record them. you cant yell at the staff if your not willing to do something simple to help make their jobs easier, and in-turn, help the community.

I've heard from some people that regen hacks can be blocked by configuring NCP not to permit Notch apples, and that this is what the Hive did to block them. Is this true?

This might offend many people, but it has to be said!

MCSG HAS NO SECURITY!

Me and my friend have been playing on MCSG for quite a while, and it's been fine, but now these servers are packed with hackers. Now before you say 'If you see a hacker, please post on the hacking section', my friend has put in 3 videos of hackers and has had no reply or even a message that they have dealt with the hackers.

This hacking problem has gone too far, and i've had enough! Me and my friend we're playing it for fun, but now it's gone too far!

Please sort this hacking problem out a.s.a.p!

I'm sick of these threads. The moderators are doing everything they can. I have poked around 8 mods on teamspeak in the last 2 days and they have all been brilliant. I have also posted things on the report abuse forums and within a few hours I have been replied saying the person has been dealt with. Maybe don't upload onto the forums but just poke a mod as I have found that to be more effective. Please lock this thread as it is stupid. Mcsg has a no cheat and that is the most we can do as If we got a no cheat to stop regen kill aura ect. It would completely ruin PvP on the servers. Again please lock this thread, thanks.
