Tier 2 Chests

I am sure many of you have heard about tier 2 chests. It is kind of a confusing subject, even for me when all my chest routes have at least 5 of them. What I don't get is if I play on my mac, a certain chest is a tier 2. When I play on my PC, the chest is just regular sh** chest. Of course, there are always the standard tier 2's, but why do the regular chests switch?

they shouldnt switch at all. We manually set each tier 2 chest. Tier 1 chests cannot possibly switch back and forth. Possible reasons:
1) You have bad luck getting items on your PC
2) Certain physical servers are running a different version of the map that has some chests set at tier 2 when they are only tier 1 on other servers.
3) #Blameclank?

I play on mac sometimes and on windows sometimes, there is no difference. At least not for me

yeah this has happened to me a lot, liek on map 2:
goes to pink house
"yayyy im the only one here"
*goes into basement knowing that i will find awesome stuff*

*opens chest*

sticks, rotten flesh, wooden tools and craps -_-

one thing i dont get is how pink house is tier 2 on 24 but not 48

Is there only tier 1 and 2? Does it get better after refill on certain ones or do they stay tier 1 or 2 the whole game?
