Hey there guys,

I have been reading Report Abuse alot at the moment and I see you guys have been uploading video's and I would like to talk to you about them

When you upload a video please do not edit it making certain parts slower because you think that it will help us determine if they are hacking. You think you are helping but in fact you make our job harder as we then must decide if that hit was a video slow hit or a actual hack. Uploading a original video always help us determine a hacker as then we know it is raw proof not edited footage.

When you upload a video you should see a box saying "Privacy Settings" that is where you can determine who can look at your video. Some of you guys are making your video public which allows your subscribers to see a hacker video and comment on it pressuring us to look at it more. We would like it if you could select "Unlisted" in the settings so your subscribers do not see the video. I reviewed a report abuse like this a few hours ago and seen in the comments a few nasty comments about the staff not viewing this sooner and dealing with it. We really do not like it when we see comments like this, also seeing video's where the actual recording player is talking bad about the staff which is recorded by his/her audio. You then start to talk about the staff badly and we really do not like this. We try our best to what we can so please do not moan if you do not agree on our reply to your report abuse post, if you do not like the reply you could always ask another member of staff to review it again and see if they disagree.

Thanks,

AlexHH25 and the MCSG Staff

How do I upload a picture? I need to report someone but it requires proof.

What's your opinion on having a zoom on the player so you can see them more closely without having to squint at the video and be right up next to your monitor? Also sometimes I have the original footage, then the zoomed footage. :p

I for one sometimes find zooming or slowing down part of a video can be useful. Opinion I guess. Doing both always helps

Two questions.

1. Is it okay to have slowed down footage as long as you have the original, unaltered footage as well? Because I personally think slowing it down makes hacks clearer, yet the normal speed footage allows mods to get a sense of the lag (if any) you are experiencing.

2. I've heard that mods dislike Quake Pro or other high FoV's to be used for ban videos, yet I like playing with it as high as possible. What is the highest FoV that you would allow in a ban video?

If you have a slowed down footage you could put the original at the start of the video and then the slowed footage after. With the FoV i really dont like it when people dont play with the normal FoV but if you like to play with a high FoV thats fine, there is no limit.

The thing with Quake Pro is that it makes it harder to see if its a hack or if it just loks like it because of the FoV. I know that out of experience.

Yeah, I've encountered the same problem, but it's just so annoying playing on low FoV :p

Well maybe just turn it down for the evidence? :p
Yeah, probably the best thing to do :p

It would be annoying to change while recording while still alive, but recording as a spec, it would definitely be good to lower my FoV.
