500 players..?

300 players lagged a lot in EU9001 on a dedicated server, so good luck with that.

He said, 'apply'. Also he said that it was going to be a 24 player game. Meaning everybody on the top 500 can apply to get in, doesn't mean they'll get accepted.

I just want to add that if you plan on renting out a server to hold 500 max, you'd be paying quite a chunk of change just for a match or three.

Nah man it is going to be a 24 player FFA, but you just need to be in the top 500 to join.

Do you need to in the top 500 global? If I were you, I'd make the first event US or EU only since PVP is messed up when halve the lobby has lag. But if the first event is going to be populair, you should just hold 2 or 3 different events devided in the different connection.
