Shredders 64x64 faithful pvp texturepack :D try it :p
Use halestale PvP texture pack it's meant for PvP

The bow is colorful
The critical hit stars look cool
And when you are on fire it doesn't block up your whole screen.

R3D craft is great, and I also like Sphax for PVP. R3D craft is essentially a more high-def version of both Faithful, and Default, while Sphax's textures emulate that of being in a comic book :)

R3D craft download: http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/1182714-151-32x-64x-128x-256x-512x-r3dcraft-default-realism-75/

I like Defined, It's like faithful, but more true to default as in it still looks blocky, but more HD. The swords look amazing, and the pack comes in both 32 and 64 bits. And if you're feeling creative, you can make a custom painterly pack. Sure it's only 16 bit, but it's unique and colorful

For some reason I find Paper Cut out really good, I think it's cause it's so simplistic and obvious as to what different armours and weapons are. It also has a really noticeable arrow animation making it easy to spot, but that's just my preference, never really been one to use many different textures.
