What type of server should I buy?

So I need a server so I can make a map. Does anyone have any suggestions on a cheap server that is good for making a map? I was thinking of buying one from CubedHost or MCProHosting, but I don't know what level I will need.

Although the quality isn't the best, the cheapest server you can buy is GGServers which is 1GB - $3. I use Netherbyte, which has fairly good quality, and is 1GB - $4. Although, it depends on what you are looking for, and what price.

Well, it all depends on where you are in the world. I believe MCSG uses Cubehost for their servers, so if you have a good connection to MCSG you are probably want to get Cubehost.
