Number 1, I prefer the text especially; it looks a lot cleaner/better.

If you're going to change the background to reflect the map being played in the video, Choice 2. If not, stick to Choice 1.

This. A couple of days ago I got new thumbnails made, I change the map on the thumbnail to whatever map I played on that game, I really like it
