Y U NO DYE LEATHER ARMOR?!

I have found in playing the survival games, I am unable to dye my leather armor white. It shows a picture of the dyed armor in the crafting results square but it then instantly disappears? Is this just me or is this on purpose?

Change this so we can dye armor please

The Bukkit build itself is 1.3.2, 1.4.2 can connect to it because of a plugin. You'll need to wait for a 1.4.2 Bukkit build to surface.
